Struggling Man

Another Africain sculpture but with a lot of emotion in it.
This modernistic approach can be determined in various
works from that continent. Very skillful sculptures are
living and working in Afrika and especially in Zimbabwe.

In fact it is unbelievable that you are able to buy these
works of art at a price you are not even able to buy
a rough stone of that size for in the Netherlands.

Giuseppe Armani

This sculpture has been made in a limited
edition in the Armani workshops in Florence.
It is a porcelain object but beautifully crafted and
handpainted. In fact the craftsmanship is that
high it drew our attention as mostly these
are not the sculptures we're after.

The back of the same sculpture: The elegance is
absolutely there and not only at the front.

The name of this figurine can be found at the bottom:
"Summer Melody" that can be found at bestwishes.net

Healing Man

Antonio Miro

From this artist which is from Spain we do not have a lot of information.
Anyway we immediately liked his approach and his way of giving form
to mankind. We think it to be a child of the more famous Joan Miro.
We have to admit he idealises his models but then again! Here above
is presented a massive bronze, 40 cm in height.

We removed the stone under this statue and we have it
temporarily placed on a wooden block. In time we will
come up with an example of stone. This statue has been
inscribed and has been made in a limited edition as
the numbers on it attests. About 25 cm in height.

The third one we were able to buy and we must say:
As the last two haven't been executed in bronze but
a kind of bronze layer on what appears to be polyester
these weren't that expensive. Of course we were aware
about that technique. This one hasn't got a limited
edition inscribed.
